Katalyst Media

A website for a London music marketing studio. It shows how a release moves from the song to the audience, then gives artists a way to enquire.

Katalyst Media homepage, with the headline about putting music in front of the right people.

Overview

Katalyst Media is a music marketing studio in London. The site is for artists, producers, managers and labels, and it shows how a release is put in front of the people most likely to connect with it.

Challenge

A campaign is difficult to explain as a list of services. The visitor needs to see the order of the work: the music, the audience, the plan, the launch, and what gets adjusted afterwards. The site had to make that sequence clear without turning the studio into a software product.

What I built

A single-page website. It opens on the studio and the artists it has worked with, then walks through the five stages of a campaign, and closes with a way to enquire.

Key features

  1. 01

The artists, on the first screen

The homepage names artists the studio has worked with, including AJ Tracey, Gigi Moss, Mellina Tey and Kian Cyrs, with the platform beside each name.

  2. 02

    Five stages, in order

The process runs from the music, to the audience, to the strategy, to launch, and then to optimisation. Each stage stays on screen long enough to read.

  3. 03

The campaign, shown as it runs

Strategy, launch and results are drawn as working views: creators and content, a command centre for reach and spend, and a comparison of the original plan with the adjusted one. The figures on the page are illustrative.

  4. 04

    A direct enquiry

The page ends with an invitation to talk about the next release, covering creator campaigns, paid media, content and DSP pitching.
